MMHS Recognized by US News & World Report

Madawaska Middle/High School was recognized by US News & World Report as the 8th highest performing high school in Maine in their April 2021 edition.  This is the 3rd time MMHS has been recognized for their performance.  US News & World Report cited the school on a combination of factors contributing to a quality education.  Among the highlights:
          • The graduation rate of 95% was well above the state's median score
          • Students scored at the 79.5th percentile, well above expectations
          • 43% of the school population took the Advanced Placement tests for college credit
          • Students scored in the 60th percentile in reading, well above the state average
          • Math and reading performance ranked as 3rd highest in the state
