Tina Roy, a medical lab technician at Northern Maine Medical Center, spoke to the 6th grade students about her job.  Students have been learning about cells and looking at them under microscopes.  Ms. Roy spoke about a popular topic, COVID testing, along with how she tests and analyses blood to help pathologists make their diagnosis.  She shared videos and photos from the lab so students would have a better understanding of what her job entails.  She even dressed a student, Korey, like she would dress if she were going into a potential COVID patient's room.  Korey was a good sport and admitted it was really hot!  See photos here.
