Medical Lab Tech Guest Speaks

Students in grade 6 are learning about cells.  On March 14, Tina Roy, who works at Northern Maine Medical Center in Ft. Kent and Cary Medical Center in Caribou as a medical lab technician, spoke to the students about her job and what it entails.  She brought in blood samples for the students to look at and made some slides to show students what certain cells look like.  All students received a lab coat and gloves.  See photos here.
