3D Printing Through the Grades

Fifth and sixth grade students have been working with students from kindergarten to grade 4 to create 3D pieces for their needs.  Students created a blueprint of their design in their classroom, then sat with the fifth/sixth grader, who used the online Tinkercad program, to create their project. They helped the third graders create pieces for their nonfiction dioramas, one kindergarten class created Mother's Day key chains, the first graders created animals for their Safari Read program, and fourth graders created spaceships for their science fiction unit.  They still need to create Father's Day keychains with one kindergarten class.  Photos of all of their creations can be seen here.
