Current Events for Room 216             Week of:  Nov. 17- 21, 2008 Dear Parent/s,   Your child has completed their first round of NWEA testing!  NWEA is computer-based and uses a data bank of hundreds to thousands of questions in Reading, Language Arts, and Math to evaluate where your child is in those subject areas.  We get an instant evaluation with useful information on your child's strengths and  needs.  C'est vraiment cool! This will enable us to better teach your child.        We are reading new novels this month.  It is important that your child read the chapter assigned and that they write a good response.  My webpage has the daily assignments - please feel free to check on the assignments and check your child's Reading Response Journals to see if the work is done.  Thanksgiving is almost here!
