2010-2011 Project
2009-2010 Projects
2008-2009 Projects Digital Storybooks For Kids 2009 The Digital Storybooks for Kids project was back for the second year in a row. This project was a new challenge for the 4th grade students at
Madawaska Elementary. They knew that the 5th graders had done this
project last year, but were they up to the challenge? Students had a great time learning the challenging process and came up with some wonderful examples! Click here for the 2009 projects. Rural Perspectives Digital Gallery 2009 Rural Perspectives is a new digital project idea that began with the 2008 - 2008. For this project, students were asked to brainstorm all of the things that they believed were unique about our Northern Maine Community. Using their ideas, the students used digital cameras to capture their ideas. The use of descriptive language, along with their photographs, became a beautiful gallery created by our students. Click here for the 2009 gallery. 2007 -2008 Projects This project was created by Mr. Sirois' Grade-5 class of 2007-2008. The students wanted to share stories that they wrote themselves in a different way. The consensus was to write stories for younger students that would be shared digitally over the internet. The combination of story, audio, video, and digital editing became an end product that taught us a great deal about the power of technology. Click here to view our projects. Room 218 Online Poetry The idea for this was simple: Create a piece of poetry, publish it on the computer, and post it on the Internet. In this archive you will first see some examples of acrostic poetry about some of our favorite fictional characters. Second, you will view picture poems that we created in free verse using our five senses based on a photo of our choosing. Enjoy. |
