MES Open House/Parent Informational Evening

The Madawaska Elementary School held an Open House/Parent Informational Evening on Tuesday the 20th of September.  Staff members held three mini workshops.  Melissa Morneault and Jennifer Sirois presented a workshop on Response to Intervention along with the introduction on the new K-3 reading series, Ben Sirois presented a workshop on the school’s new positive behavior plan implemented this fall, and Vince Vanier presented a workshop for parents of students in grades 4-6 in the area of PowerSchool and viewing their child’s grades online.  Teachers and staff were also available in their classrooms to speak with the parents.  The staff received a lot of positive feedback from the parents and community on the huge success of the evening.
