The Wall Plate
1/4" audio plug

Plugs in a laptop to the speaker in the projector.  You can use this port to plug in devices like iPods as well.  Usually any item that you can plug a set of headphones into will work here.

VGA

This is the way you'll get video from your laptop onto the projector.  If you're using an Apple laptop, make sure you have the appropriate dongle to connect the VGA cable.

RCA Video and RCA Audio

This is your best way to hook up DVD and VCR players.  The yellow connection is for the analog video signal, and the red and white connections are for the Left and Right audio signals.

Source Search is what you use if you have two or more items plugged into the wall plate.  It will automatically toggle between the laptop and RCA source.

Help brings up an onscreen help menu.

Menu gets into the settings within the projector.  Here you can access Keystoning for example.

Esc gets you out of the last command entered.  For example if you mute the sound, it unmutes the sound.

Vol- (4) and Vol + (6) turns up or down the volume of the sound coming out of the speaker.  Note:  you can still control volume coming into the projector at the source (ex. laptop sound or iPod sound)

Enter selects the item appearing on your screen.
Aspect switches between a 4:3 screen ratio and a 16:9 widescreen ratio.

A/V Mute turns off the audio and video going through the projector.  Good way to get the attention of the audience.
