Maine Court Appointed Special Advocates

posted May 15, 2014, 7:46 AM by Vincent Vanier
The Maine Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program is administered within the Family Division of the Maine Judicial Branch. The program recruits, trains, and supervises volunteer advocates to serve as guardians ad litem in child protection cases. We want to increase the awareness of the Maine CASA program and of volunteer opportunities for teachers and other employees in your school district. I am attaching a short article and a poster. I ask you to post it on any bulletin boards that you deem appropriate for recruitment and community awareness. If you have a school circular, newspaper, or any payday communication, please also feel free to include this information about our program there as well.

Please contact me if you need more information. Thank you for your support and willingness to assist Maine children and the CASA program.
